Bryan & Mercedes
Bryan is one of the few people Mercedes trusts; he is her best friend.
They've been friend since high school. He was one of the friends that Mercedes was with on
the night of her father's murder, the reason she returned home late. Like Mercedes he feels
slightly responsible for what happened that night. Mercedes and Bryan became detectives together,
Bryan joining both for support and his ability to solve problems. He also is the only one who
knows her secrets, can get past her emotional barriers, and who can bust into her apartment
without reason.
They spend a lot of time together, both inside and outside of work.
As partners they spend hours on research and investigations. Outside
of work they try and have some fun. Bryan loves taking Mercedes out for
drink or dinner. They enjoy mini golf, though she would never admit it.
They also love just sitting at the park, in the dark, watching the stars.
