 | there were few things rian todd was passionate about that weren't categorized as illegal or that were condoned in the eyes of the general public. she had always been a rebel at heart, from the time she was a young girl, and she had never much cared for the approval of others so none of that had really bothered her. she made her living on her own doing something she loved. being called a whore on her way home from work came with the territory and she would typically look at the person trying to insult her and say, "yeah. and your point is?" however, one of the legal and generally normal things she liked was music. especially of the 80's rock and metal variety. that was what brought her to the record store today. while she longingly stared at the vinyl's across the building, she forced herself to look through the cd's. she really wish she had a record player. brushing her hair out of her face, she continued scanning the artists and the albums being sold. she owned a rather impressive collection back home but she was always looking to add to it. in one hand, she did hold a few cd's already. avenged sevenfold's sounding the seventh trumpet, iron maiden's self titled album, and asking alexandria's stand up and scream. ones she was surprised her collection was missing but refused to be with out. she slowly strode down the aisles, just browsing and being complimented on her choice in music that were probably really just used as excuses from the young men just to talk to her. their lust filled gaze barely fazed her and she just thanked them before continuing her searching. if they thought they deserved a conversation with her, they'd have to do a lot better than that pitiful excuse of an attempt. suddenly, her search came up with a lucky strike. the last disc in stock of guns n' roses' use your illusion. truly a classic. |
