a mistake was made when she spent more than a single month in one spot, when she very well knew that her psycho ex-boyfriend was plotting revenge on her. she took her final shower in room six in her motel room, and picked out an outfit that would suit her curves in simplicity with an outfit that uphold a complicated amount of items. she had purchased some new clothes, and was able to toss out the clothing items that had seen better days. she ran both hands through her hair, while she felt a rush of adrenaline kick in as the certainty that would allow her to have an alright time in the next city was uncertain. she was not sure which direction she would be able to take, because one direction would be retracing her steps and north would lead her straight towards her hometown. she was nervous of her outcome, it would appear that her demise was inevitable. she picked up her bag and started walking along the sidewalk, she had told the lady at the front desk that she was ready to get out of her hair and paid her bill in full with a wod of cash. there was also the thing that she was running out of cash from her trust fund that was going to fund her to be going into university to follow her childhood dream, that was later crushed when she realized that she could never have her name widely known. there was no need for goodbyes, because that would just cause her to plant her life back in the city that she was trying to leave. the taxi ride to the boarder of flordia went on throughout the morning, but now she was standing in front of the sign that wrote 'you're now leaving flordia.' and she felt a twisted knot in the pit of her stomach. she didn't understand, she slowly dropped to her knees with tears streaming down her pale face. pandora never allowed her emotions to surpace into a blooming state, but it would appear that this time it happened without her acknowledgement. "i think i love him." a soft whisper escaped her lips, while the back of her hands wiped her face. the taxi thermometer was ticking, so she pushed herself up and ran back to the taxi; she slid in the back seat, "back to miami." she uttered. the taxi would get her there faster, than she would be able to there on foot. she arrived in the city, and knew that any longer would rob her off the money left over. she digged in her bag and handed the money over, "keep the change." she uttered, and slipped out of the car while pulling her duffle bag with her. she was certain that people were starting to believe that she was crazy, running through town with a heavy duffle bag sling on her back. she was breathless when she finally ended up on Jimmy's doorstep, and she had hoped that he was actually home. she had dropped the bag on the doorstep, lifted her hand to the door and give it a soft knock. her fingers softly played with a lighter, because she felt like the knots were just a new version of a nicotine fit. she was hoping that tunny wouldn't be home, because it would be humiliating if jimmy completely turned her away. she was offering him a chance to have her around, and simply didn't care if he wasn't at the same level of emotion as she was. | |
