hello to everyone who has stuck with us, and welcome back to SOMETHING HUMANS CRAVE! we are pleased to announce our reopening! without further ado, let's get into telling you about our updates and announcements!
I. first off, marie and i would proudly like to announce that we have promoted *DANDY to being a minion! he has already been incredibly helpful in bringing the site up to date with coding, making our temporary cbox, accepting apps, and so much more. thank you so much for your help and welcome to the staff!
II. as you all have surely noticed, we have changed the layout of the site. some negative memories were associated with the old one and we all feel this one is a bit cleaner and more organized; we hope you agree and enjoy it! we'll be working at adding some more options to the site with time so keep your eyes peeled for new layouts popping up as options in your profile. ;)
III. many members left us and their threads and characters were added to the archives during our board clean up. if you are a returning member who would like to bring back a character we archived, just send a staff member a private message and we'll either move it or send you the code you require.
- please take this time to make sure your claims and shipper are all up to date! we have cleaned things up as best we can but we need your help to retain a clean and organized look and feel to the site.
IV. while we are currently ready for an official opening at any point, we will be holding a simple soft opening until june 1st when it is my goal to do our grand reopening. i say because i would like to be able to upgrade our old cbox back to premium (hence our current temp cbox) and i would like to add the option of an icc into the mix, which will also have to be premium. when the grand reopening happens, keep your eyes peeled for some challenges and perks! in the mean time, invite your friends or just enjoy the calm before the storm.
V. previous bans have been lifted. we are pretty even in male to female ratios, have 22 female and 20 male characters. there are a few accounts that are still working on posting their apps so please make sure you get those up and finished as soon as you can before the grand reopening. also, make sure you have any juicy want ads you may be thinking up posted to help further temp future members into joining the ranks.
