| the day started out busy from her phone going off from an unknown number to finding out that they were out of cereal. we live in crucial times were first world problems started applying to little miss del. this is the same girl that takes a little longer than most girls her age to text back or find the appropriate buttons on the telly. at the very least, it was the weekend, which meant she could avoid her undesired laptop for a couple of days. she still had some issues with keeping it running, and she wants to continue avoiding the computer guy that's giving her more than a headache. she didn't understand why he was pestering her, most people don't give her much thought, considering the fact that she doesn't know much about today's world. some would think that she was an easy target, but her best friend was her body guard in a way. she could always count on eve to keep her out of the harmful clutches of being unsafe. she'd be lost without eve, and she knows that she has came a long way with learning about technology.
since they were out of cereal, they decided it would be best to stick with poptarts. then she was told that she should probably put on pants, if she was planning on going out. she actually wasn't planning on living the comfort zone of the apartment. a shower was necessary though, it took about two hours to fully shower, hair&make up, and put on some clothes. she has learned in the years that it would be best to look like you have your life together, cause you never know when your roommate is going to bring home company/other friends. but while she was in the shower, eve left to go do whatever it is that she had planned to do for the day without her.
she didn't care. she needed some space. some delaney time. she lifted her eyebrow when she heard the door knock, and walked over to the door, opening it with ease. at first, her eyes landed on broad shoulders and chest, then looked up with a light blush, "hey person, Eve isn't here." she said, looking down. no way, this gorgeous, tall man was here for her. "she'll be back soon or eventually, if you'd like to come inside." she said, while stepping back and giving some space between her and the door to allow him to fit in. she also had a very bad habit of trusting too easily. "my name is Delaney.." she said, with a sheepish smile.

| the night before had been crazy, if he watched the new he would know that his final public concert of this tours had been an epic success. of course, he knew that, it was a sold out show of 75,000 of his closest friends. it hadn't started out as a success, an hour before the show was supposed to start, his opening act, got sick, food poisoning. he had to think quick, cause he only had one opening act. so, he called in a favor. well, it was more like a fun little thing that would drive the fans crazy. his special guest, who had been Roslyn Winters, who he had been rumored to having dated... just rumors of course, they had never dated. however, they had been involved for awhile, but neither of them wanted anything more. now they were just good friends. they had done the opening act together, well, he had done two songs with her before she ended her set with four more. he got his set going by ten, and did about nine songs, before he was supposed to be over, but then came back with four more songs. then he signed autographs until about 4 AM, before they finally cut it off. he got everyone that had been waiting; autographs and photographs with everyone. his hand had been numb, but it was worth making the fans happy.
he didn't get to bed until 5AM and of course he couldn't sleep very long, so he woke up at 8 and cleaned himself up. he had been exhausted when he got back to his bus, and he just crashed. it was quiet that morning without anyone. he had his dew with him most of the time, but they had all been sent home after the concert, getting their bonus checks and kudos for being awesome. now it was just him and his dog, a golden retriever who was lovable, but too accustomed to being spoiled on the road. his last concert was private, and only about fifty people were allowed in, the fans that were willing to pay quite a chunk of money and of course his sister and whoever she gave the plus-one to.
that's why he was at her apartment, because he had told her he would be dropping the tickets off to her. he didn't like the neighborhood she lived in, was it safe enough for his baby sister? he wasn't sure. them again, he couldn't really tell her what to do. he finally got to the apartment door he knocked, only to be answered by someone who was not his sister, and didn't have appear to have stranger-danger at all. he walked into the apartment though, assuming this was the roommate his sister constantly talked about. "umm, did she say when she would be back?' he asked. clearly this girl had no idea who he was. "I'm Adrian, her brother." he didn't think he needed to indicate which brother, since their older brother never came around, he was still holding a grudge again Adrian for their move from Nashville when they first moved to Miami. he held the white envelope in his hands, "I have tickets for her, there are two in there for the private concert tonight."he said handing the envelope over. he wasn't going to point out that it was for his concert, because he didn't feel the need too.

| changing her number three times to avoid having to talk to someone that helped her figure out how to use a computer, he was getting out of hand. she has never went to a concert and the closest thing she had gotten to one previously was singing and dancing in the shower. she was aware that she was missing out on the majority of things, and it was the not knowing all what it was that slightly bothered her. she accidentally discovered the world while walking in the woods and heard the sounds of engines coming from both directions, and that's when everything went upside down. her stalker talked about marriage off and on, but has yet to tell her that he's been planning their marriage since they met two years ago. although, her best friend has had no trouble finding a date, and she refuses to get the best friend who seems to always thinks she's between retarded and stupid. she refuses to be belittled, and the only thing she really wants to do is help people out. she's the type of person that would willingly walk to her apartment in her bra, because someone else needed her shirt more than her. it's a reason why her best friend gets so worried that someone else is going to take advantage of her.
speaking of being taken advantage of, she doesn't have any experience in sexual circumstances but she was casually considering finding out while looking at her best friends brother. she had let him in with ease, and ran a hand through her hair. she heard his question and could tell that he cared deeply for his sister, and gently shrugged her shoulders, "she doesn't tell me everything." she responded, and sometimes gets specific directions not to tell people where she's going since she sometimes gets the tabloids after her. she smiled when she heard that he was her brother, Adrian and could remember getting her ear talked off by his sister. "your sister talks about you a lot, sometimes." she said, but wouldn't mention that most of that was that she should meet him and go on a date with him, at least once. it was their little dream to be sisters, since they had already acted that way towards each other. she had noticed that he was holding a white envelope earlier in his hands, but wouldn't ask him about it because it was clearly none of her business until he offered up that type of information.
"tickets for what?" slipped out as a question, because it didn't dawn on her that it could be his concert. she heard from eve that he was in the music industry, but it didn't click. she had reached out and gently took the envelope, and was planning to just stick it on her best friends bed and allow her to decide whom she was taken. "i hope she has fun at the concert." she said, with a small grin. it was true, she would never wish for someone to have a bad day. she honestly thought that everyone should have a joy-filled life.

| Adrian smirked a little bit, ”it’s a private concert, vip tickets..” he said simply, he wasn’t going to explain that it was his concert, especially if she didn’t realize it by now, there was no way he was going to ruin it now. Typically, when people saw him or realized who he was it was a crazy swarm of people wanting pictures or autographs. He could rarely go anywhere without this happening, just before he had gotten to the apartment, when he left the bus, there were fans waiting to see him, just to get a peek at him, to get a glance their way, and an autograph or picture of him. Of course he obliged because he was just that kind of guy. He was dedicated to his fans, that wasn’t something he tried to hide, he continually thanked his fans, which was one of the reasons he was holding the private concert, and then the next weekend he was going to be holding a free concert in one of the bigger parks in Miami.
He looked at her for a second, appraising her for a moment. ”Eve has talked about you a lot, actually that’s about all she will talk about with me on the phone.” he told her. ”I have no doubt that you’re going with her to this concert.” he ran his fingers through his already shaggy hair, messing it up more. ”no doubt at all..” he mused. He had a feeling his sister meant to be scarce when he got there. He should of known she would try something like this, it had been a few phone calls now, but it was always there. When he said that his sister talked about her friend, it was really how perfect she was for him, how innocent and naïve she was, apparently he would like someone like that. He had heard this since Eve had met the mysterious Delaney.
Adrian was known by the media as being a “bad boy”, there were rumors that he had slept with fans at concerts, that he used women and paid them for their time, or that he didn’t actually sing. All of those were false. He would never cross that line with a fan, there was too much risk in that. He would never pay anyone for sex. And he sang all of his songs, he wrote most of them too. He tried to protect his family and friends from the media, especially his family because they weren’t famous. He especially tried to protect his sister from everything horrible that he could. Of course she made up her own mind about everything, and there was only so much that he could do to keep her safe and listening to him. He was sure his sister would kill him for just leaving and not taking the opportunity that she set him up with, but he really didn’t feel like playing into her game just yet. ”So, just make sure she knows that there are VIP tickets in there, for meet and greet, and the after party.. it’s the last concert of the tour.. so it’ll probably be a crazy time.” he said with a shrug.
